TERRA - MULTI-SENSOR TO MONITOR AGRICULTURAL CULTURES

TERRA is a multi sensor that measures several parameters simultaneously, measures solar radiation, air humidity, air temperature, soil temperature and soil moisture at various depths. At the moment two sensor measurements are available at 40 cm, which is more advisable for small fruits and vegetables and 60 cm, which is advisable for other crops with the deepest root system. The goal is to support the farmer / technician to do a more efficient irrigation, thus maintaining the healthy state of the crop.

This new system is revolutionary because on the one hand it receives productive and operational information from farmers and on the other hand it will detect physical parameters through TERRA. The system, with this type of information, will be able to correlate the operational variables with the physical variables and in a short time will identify critical factors that will contribute to the increase or decrease of agricultural productivity, namely aspects related to irrigation, fertilization, treatments, pests, climatic conditions, production costs, etc. ...



This system is able to calculate the evapotranspiration index and the water balance of the crops and thus ensure that they receive the exact water at their best evolution, avoiding still significant water and energy wastes ".
TERRA is thought to be a very easy to set up device, so intuitive that the farmer himself will have no trouble installing it and integrating it with the application without any outside help.
