SEFT-PROPELLED VEGETABLE HARVESTER ORTOMEC 8300

Leafy greens self-propelled harvester, equipped with a big working platform (up to 4 mt long) that allows the loading of several pallets and to be equipped with systems for the cleaning and the processing of the product. The side wings are closable so that the machine can be transported on the road.

The combinations of the four driving wheels and hydraulic gearboxes, the floating front axle, the reinforced frame, and the 50 cm ground clearance, make this harvester the right choice for the open-field use, even on muddy and bumpy soil. The four steering wheels make it easier to manoeuvre even on the edge of the field.

Three engines are available: 50 HP Kubota diesel, 65 HP Kubota turbo-diesel, 75 HP Kohler turbo-diesel with dedicated electronics; all are four-cylinders.

Cutting height regulation through an electronic sensors system make for reactivity and precision even where the soil is not completely flat.

The harvester is easy to maintain thanks to the filters installed outside of the frame. The hydraulic cutting head lifting allows a greater accesibility to the engine compartment and the hydraulics.

All the machine controls are electronic and are placed close to the driving operator, making the harvest comfortable and user-friendly.

The hydraulic and the electronic components used in the harvester are first quality, for a state-of-the-art product made to last. The hot galvanized steel frame and the use of the stainless steel specifically where corrosion may occur make for excellent hygienic conditions, which are essential in harvesting.

Lots of optionals are available, such as the sun canopy, several cleaning systems for the harvest, conveyor belts, rear fork-lift elevator, water sprayer, etc.
